Questions from the council
Before you grant it
a tiny kingdom.
Sensible questions about an objectively unnecessary—but impeccably behaved—Mac dragon.
Will it block my clicks?
No. The full-screen overlay ignores mouse events, so clicking, dragging, scrolling, typing, and ordinary app interaction pass straight through.
Does it need Accessibility permission?
No. Mouse of The Dragon uses mouse coordinates and mouse event types only. It does not request Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Screen Recording, camera, or microphone access.
Can the dragon stay away while I work?
Yes. Choose a larger pointer offset or a work-safe flight style so the dragon orbits farther from text, controls, and the insertion point.
How do I restore the normal cursor immediately?
Turn off Hide Native Cursor from the menu, disable the dragon, or press Control–Option–Command–D. Quitting the app also restores it.
Is the download safe to open on another Mac?
The DMG is signed with a Developer ID certificate, notarized by Apple, and distributed as a Universal 2 build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
How do I uninstall it?
Quit Mouse of The Dragon from its menu bar menu, then move the app from Applications to the Trash. No background agent or mouse history is left behind.
